Dear HaRav Bina/YNA, Greetings from a Shana Bet Alumni of 2013. I have been 7 years without much contact, as I felt embrassed to show my face to Rebbeim, when I was struggling with shmirat Hatorah, and falling off the derech for having felt disconnected with my studies. I felt I left on a bad note, and embrassed myself, and didn't show enough gratitude, chesed, and Ahava to Rabbis who have influenced, nurtured and mentored me for two years. I waited for the right time to reach out to do Teshuva, and this tzedaka is not only a commitment for funding the Yeshiva for the future, but a call for me to do better. My path has made me go out into the world, only to return home, and in the process of returning to my Torah studies, doing Teshuva, and being a healthy Bnai Adam for others to see. I hope you can mochel me for any past distress, that I have caused, I was fragile, sensitive, emotional and projected my challenges in Israel on Rebbeim in a unhealthy way. Besides having a learning disability, which prevented me to tap into my shiuriim, most of my connections were warm, and my neshama couldn't live with the reality to not say thank you, and find the right time, (before Yom Kippur) to express my love, forgiveness, and blessings for a sweet new year, where we can all reunite in Yerushalaim, and see Geulah come in our times. I hope when I return, we can continue where we left off, no jokes, no past wounds, just opening up Pirkei Avot, my other favorite seforim and learn with kevanah, kedusha, and ahavat yisrael.
